Chubb Life Global is seeking a results-driven and highly organized leader to serve as the Head of Data Transformation. This pivotal role will oversee the delivery of large-scale, complex data transformation programs across 8 Asian markets, ensuring that all initiatives are executed on time, within scope, and with maximum business impact. The successful candidate will possess deep program management skills, a strong understanding of the data management lifecycle, and the ability to drive accountability and collaboration among diverse stakeholders. This is a delivery-focused, stakeholder-centric role with a mandate to leverage data for tangible business value.

Program Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, multi-market data transformation programs, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and timelines.
  • Define program scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage detailed program plans, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor program progress, proactively identify issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ensure all program milestones and deliverables are met, maintaining a relentless focus on business impact and value creation.

Stakeholder Management & Accountability

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across business, IT, and regional teams, acting as the primary point of contact for program delivery.
  • Drive accountability by establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics for all stakeholders involved in the program.
  • Facilitate regular program reviews, steering committee meetings, and status updates to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve conflicts, and negotiate solutions to complex challenges.

Business Impact & Value Delivery

  • Champion the use of data to deliver measurable business outcomes, such as improved operational efficiency, enhanced customer experience, and increased profitability.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for data-driven transformation and ensure initiatives are prioritized for maximum impact.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to demonstrate the value delivered by data transformation programs.

Data Management Lifecycle

  • Ensure all data transformation initiatives adhere to best practices in data management, including governance, quality, integration, and security.
  • Work closely with data management teams to ensure data assets are properly catalogued, accessible, and reliable throughout the transformation process.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement in data management processes and standards across the organization.

Data Management & Governance

  • Ensure that data initiatives align with the organization’s data governance framework and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with data management teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and usability across the organization.
  • Advocate for best practices in data management and lifecycle processes to ensure the integrity and reliability of insights.

Change Management & Communication

  • Develop and execute change management strategies to drive adoption of new data processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Communicate program vision, objectives, and progress to all levels of the organization, ensuring buy-in and engagement.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to business and technical teams as needed.

  • 15+ years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of delivering complex data transformation initiatives in large, multinational organizations.
  • Deep understanding of the data management lifecycle, including governance, quality, integration, and security.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with a focus on delivering measurable business impact through data-driven initiatives.
  • Expertise in risk management, budgeting, resource planning, and change management.
  • Experience in the insurance industry or financial services is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with data transformation tools, methodologies, and platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Snowflake) is a plus.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar program management certification is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
