Position Details:
- Job Title: Senior Analyst- Actuarial Pricing
- Function/Department: Actuarial
- Location: Bangalore, India
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Reports To: Team Lead
- Role Overview – Loss Cost Modelling
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the e-pricing team on key pricing responsibilities, such as working on pricing models that incorporate risk factors, market trends, and claim experience.
Continuously research and evaluate new data sources (both internal and third-party) and integrate them into models to enhance predictive power and improve pricing accuracy.
Standardize modelling processes to ensure scalability and efficiency across product lines
Support pricing modernization initiatives, including building and migrating raters in Radar
Prepare detailed pricing and portfolio analysis reports for pricing actuaries, underwriters, and stakeholders, clearly communicating assumptions, methodologies, and results.
Skills and Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in any analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, etc
Pursuit of actuarial exams to qualify as an actuary and having good exam progress.
5 to 8 years relevant actuarial work experience in Non- Life insurance;
Modelling experience in Python (or, if not Python, then Emblem or another relevant system).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
