Role Overview
Key Responsibilities:
Job Description
- Minimum 10 years enterprise IT application experience with hands-on software development.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Java.
- Strong experience in Core Java (Collections, Multi-threading, etc.), Spring Framework, and Microservices development.
- Hands-on experience with microservices design patterns.
- Proficient in cloud technologies, especially Azure (Cosmos DB, App Insights); experience with AWS or GCP is a plus.
- Experience with event-based and message-driven distributed systems.
- Experience in SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server and basic DB2 knowledge is a plus.
- Strong experience in No-SQL MongoDB.
- Extensive experience working in Agile environments and all phases of software development, including test-driven development.
- Well versed with analyzing business and technical requirements and providing guidance.
- Good problem solving & analytical skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to communicate and work effectively with global teams.
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Participate in software design, development, and implementation using Java/J2EE technical stack.
- Create high/low level design of applications; work with architects for suggestions and approvals.
- Take ownership of applications or modules.
- Assist with estimation of development tasks.
- Provide strong testing and debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration, and performance testing.
- Mentor junior team members and ensure software development adheres to best practices and quality standards through code and design reviews.
- Work with multiple teams and update status to stakeholders and senior management.
- Handle multiple demands/priorities effectively; adapt to best fit the situation at hand; handle conflict effectively; take initiative and accountability.
- Collaborate, develop new skills quickly, and be willing to accept new responsibilities.
- Experience in UI technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular 7+.
- Experience in Docker & Kubernetes.
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Maven or Gradle.
- Familiarity with .NET technologies codebase.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development and DevOps practices.
