IT Delivery Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Delivery Manager to lead and drive our technology projects, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives. This role is responsible for managing a local team of software engineers, collaborating closely with regional and global teams, and partnering with our transformation office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology project management, people leadership, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions that support our company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of local software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Work closely with regional and global IT teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of cross-functional initiatives.
• Partner with the transformation team to drive digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
• Oversee the financial management of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Design and implement technology solutions that support business objectives and drive competitive advantage.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in project management, including the use of agile methodologies.
• Promote the adoption of innovative technologies, including AI, to enhance the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, particularly in the insurance sector.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are a plus.
• Proven experience in managing technology projects, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing technical teams.
• Specialization in technology management or project management.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with project management methodologies, especially agile frameworks.
• Experience in designing and delivering technology solutions.
• Solid understanding of financial management related to project delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Team builder with a collaborative and proactive approach.
• Experience working in a regulated environment, with a focus on security and compliance.
• Knowledge of AI applications in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is a strong differentiator.
