KEY OBJECTIVE:
The Actuarial Analyst will be responsible for providing Actuarial Department support for the Canadian operations of Chubb, with particular focus on support for Personal Lines Pricing, with additional initiatives as priorities dictate.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the annual pricing study;
- Provide actuarial support for required rate filings;
- Assist in development of new pricing methodologies;
- Provide planning and forecasting support to senior management, product management, and home office, as needed;
- Provide input into database development and management, to ensure data availability to support actuarial requirements;
- Provide support in gathering reinsurance submission data.
- Completion of a University Bachelor degree, in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Commerce/Business;
- Completion of a minimum of 4 examinations of the Casualty Actuarial Society;
- Minimum of 3 years of P&C actuarial experience;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook) and working knowledge of Python and SQL;
- Effective organizational and time management skills;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as negotiation abilities;
- Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors, including prior experience, qualifications, anticipated contribution to the role, location, and internal equity.
