Overview
Chubb is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position and a compelling opportunity to join a global, growing, financially stable and successful company. Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger & Bookkeeping
Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities in accordance with local GAAP and Group accounting policies
Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepayments, reclassifications, intercompany entries)
Maintain accurate and timely general ledger records
Perform monthly ledger monitoring and variance analysis to ensure data integrity
Support monthly financial close activities
Assist in balance sheet account reconciliations and follow up on open items
Prepare VAT reconciliations and support VAT returns in coordination with central tax teams
Support intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and mismatch resolution
Statutory & Tax Audit Support
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation for statutory and tax audits
Act as a key contact point for auditors for assigned areas
Ensure audit requests are addressed accurately and on time
Support implementation of audit recommendations and control improvements
Financial Statement Preparation
Support preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with local regulations
Assist in note disclosures, supporting schedules, and tie-outs to the general ledger
Ensure consistency between financial statements and underlying accounting records
Compliance & Internal Controls
Follow internal control procedures relevant to assigned processes
Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
Contribute to knowledge documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
