Key Objective

The position is primarily responsible for the analysis of Accident & Health (A&H)’s and International Personal Lines (IPL’s) key business metrics across all A&H and IPL lines of business, including but not limited to SPL (Specialized Personal Lines) , Residential and Motor as well as AH (and Hybrid) Direct marketing campaign performance and campaign list generation on internal and external (partner) data, tracking of campaign KPIs, Customer Segmentation, lapse monitoring and support implementation of analytical solution across A&H businesses in Taiwan but also supporting Hong Kong and Indonesia .

Major duties and responsibilities: Local

  • Design and build financial templates required for business reporting, performing analytical reviews and recommending remedial solution and action plans. Provide support for deployment of predictive models at partner site. Liaise with client’s IT team to get access to relevant data and share with Regional team to assist on model development.

  • Performance and monitoring of Campaign KPIs, model monitoring and communication of results with relevant stakeholders.

  • Generate leads file for Customer Management (cross-sell) and Partner (external) Campaigns.

  • Maintain Lapse tracking and Billing performance Dashboard. Support retention initiatives to control attrition of customers.

  • Build certain Direct Marketing/Digital acquisition propensity models with our Partners to increase response rate on all campaigns. They will involve spending time at partner premises, Collecting and building data models

  • Formulate analytical solutions to improve Customer Management & retention strategies, working closely with DM team, IT and Operations

  • Liaise with Regional and Global team to implement Best Practices in Analytics in the country

Major duties and responsibilities: Regional

Top-tier AI projects, fostering continuous learning and growth.

  • Implementing AI initiatives (e.g., trainer bot, enrolment AI ingestion) for Hong Kong and Indonesia markets( with possible extenstion to projects in Singapore, MY & Thailand) , serving as the DM data SME

    • Leveraging Chinese , Thai and English language skills, which are essential for Taiwan due to data access restrictions, and valuable for engaging Regionwide partners and internal stakeholders

  • Regional DM modeling work for Hong Kong, Indonesia which includes:

    • Developing, implementing, and tracking Acquisition and POM models

    • Optimizing CM and Winback campaign funnels

    • Predicting customer lifetime value and implementing various conservation use cases

    • Participating in partner discussions to identify key areas for campaign improvement

    • Monitoring lapses and conducting in-depth trend analysis to engage partners and operations teams for remedial actions if necessary


Skills

  • IT knowledge to include MS Access, IBM DB2/Microsoft SQL server (for Databases and SQL), Microsoft office suite. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Macro VBA will be preferred

  • Knowledge of at least one statistical package like Python or R is mandatory

  • Power BI or Qlik Sense or Google Analytic/Google Data Studio experience is preferred

  • The ability to analyze, model and interpret data

  • Good analytical skill, result oriented, creative

  • Have good interpersonal skills

  • Insurance and financial product knowledge preferred

Experience

  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in Business Analytics, Data Analytics or MIS role. Experience in insurance industry will be preferred

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Decision Science /Statistics/Mathematics or equivalent
