A Depositary Receipts (“DR”) Product Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth through new product development. The overall objective of this role is to deliver new DR product and geography expansion across multiple asset classes.


Responsibilities:

  • Ownership and coverage of DR market expansion across asset classes and geography

  • Focus on commercializing growth products within the business and expanding overall wallet share

  • Establish new products and geographic expansion including all commercial and execution aspects end-to-end including product and transactional support to end users

  • Partner with functional and business counterparts to implement global product strategy and lead strategy related work-streams

  • Drive innovation including working with technology and external partners / alliances to maintain / improve product status

  • Research capital markets dynamics including trends in IPOs, cross-border investing, liquidity, valuation to optimize business strategy to increase Citi’s share of market

  • Conduct analysis on client and competitive climate including gathering market intelligence and industry benchmarking to maximize deal wins

  • Develop analytical tools including the use of financial analysis to optimize deal pricing, manage risks and maximize upside potential

  • Execution of deal contracts through commercial negotiations with clients and other counterparties

  • Construct client collateral, reports and white papers centered around capital market intelligence as well as assist Sales and Account Management teams with the development of pitchbooks, client proposals, industry award submissions, and ad hoc market research and presentations for product promotion

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience

  • Previous experience in capital markets / transaction management preferred

  • Foreign language skills (e.g., Spanish) a plus

  • Strong understanding of Equity, Fixed Income, Capital Markets, and Banking industries

  • Strong commercial acumen, abilities to negotiate and influence

  • History of developing new products to drive business growth

  • Highly motivated, self-starter, resourceful, reliant, and globally minded

  • Strong interpersonal skills with attention to details and ability to take direction well

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

  • Demonstrated analytical and technical skills (especially Microsoft Office). Proficient with large data sets

  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment in a global business

  • Financial and statistical analysis skills, including abilities such as regression analysis, quantitative analysis, and forecasting techniques

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree / University degree or equivalent experience
