We are seeking a Product Analyst based in Singapore to join the Global Insurance Team . The successful candidate will assist in the end-to-end management of our insurance business, supporting and ensuring timely delivery of partner commitments and client value propositions. This role will play a critical part in our business operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls, local privacy laws, and regulations.
The Product Analyst is an analyst level position responsible for the day-to-day operations of the broader Product Management team, coordinating with cross functions stakeholders and insurance providers, prepare the necessary documentations, checks and validations for financials and controls reporting.
The overall objective of this role is to perform the day-to-day operations efficiently, liaising with internal and external stakeholders including insurance partners, and to also ensure the business adheres to internal policies, and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Participate in required discussions across internal and external teams. Key contact point in working with other cross function stakeholders globally on new digital and technology related initiatives.
- Responsible in assisting in preparation for new product onboarding and campaign launches including approvals from global stakeholders.
- Manage client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and address fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions
- Oversee all aspects of program life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field
- Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans
- Assist in the preparation of financial validation and reporting.
- Co-create digital journeys for insurance products along with multiple stakeholders including experience, technology and country teams
- Perform functional and controls testing and attestations to meet adherence to applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Includes UAT for digital, technology and day-to-day operational processes where required.
- Interface with Governance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and ensure that implementations meet risk and control needs to protect business and customer interests
- Responsible in demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets, by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the insurance or banking industry
- Experience managing across multi-function and/or global business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization
- Work collaboratively with global partners in other functional units; ability to navigate a large scale organization
- Ability to work under pressure and excellent project management and organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Working knowledge in compliance laws, rules, regulations and privacy risks in the Insurance sector will be a plus.
