Team Overview:

The Product Management team is responsible for the product management of the capabilities required to support the Business Architecture organization. These capabilities are essential to the rollout of the Citi Enterprise Architecture Methodology (CEAM) and cover several areas, including:

  • Automation of the mapping of Risk Factors to the enterprise taxonomies
  • Delivery of key metrics demonstrating how Citi is simplifying and consolidating the application landscape
  • Rationalization of reporting dashboards to streamline user experience and provision data from strategic sources
  • Introduction AI technologies to assist with the adoption of CEAM

The Product Management/Business Lead Analyst (Re-engineering Process Manager - C13) accomplishes results through the management of professional team(s) and department(s). Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Contributes to standards around which others will operate. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of an area.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leaders globally in business architecture and technology to deliver key capabilities.
  • Lead and design of technical product strategies.
  • Drive Agile delivery methodologies with technology partners.
  • Coordinate or conduct UAT testing (depending on the scenario) and provide sign-off.
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day needs of the program which involves tracking progress, removing barriers and providing cross functional leadership.
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day activities associated with a specific process improvement efforts.
  • Provide timely and regular communication, and overall project reporting within team, business partners, business leadership and reengineering leadership.
  • Partner with product business management to establish project priorities and assist in the successful delivery of their projects as needed.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

  • 6+ years process and project management experience. Lean, Six Sigma or another formal training in reengineering or process improvement.
  • Relevant product management experience within Financial Services, ideally within an Enterprise Architecture function.
  • Experience of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders on complex and cross-functional projects.
  • Deep understanding of all aspects of IT development, product management and program management to enable effective collaboration with partners from those disciplines.
  • Experience in multiple areas of the financial services domain e.g., consumer, institutional, risk, compliance, and finance to facilitate effective communication with partners.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Positive can-do attitude with a willingness to take control of a situation when required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
