The unified Banking and International organization oversees the local delivery of the full firm to clients in each of the 95 markets where Citi has an on-the-ground presence.

The Relationship Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for assisting clients by handling inquiries, resolving operational and administrative issues and ensuring a high standard of service delivery. The Relationship Analyst also serves as an intermediary between clients and internal teams, fostering trust, maintaining compliance and driving client satisfaction. The overall objective of this role is to support Relationship managers (RMs) in delivering best-in-class client services on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely problem resolutions and provide support for client needs and services
- Monitor payment and cash transactions for discrepancies or delays, investigate and resolve any disputes and escalate complex case to relevant teams to ensure timely settlement.
- Facilitate end-to-end client onboarding and account management requests including collection and verification of required documentation, coordination of operational setup and securing necessary internal approvals if needed.
- Partner with Product Partners and Relationship Managers to perform various activities for Know Your Client (KYC) requirements, including timely origination, monitoring, renewals and completion across all products and geographic regions
- Help clients to access Citi’s global network, locating and working with local coverage teams and provide support across the globe
- Verify tasks and requests are handled efficiently and in good order, maintaining accountability for task completion.
- Ensure proper revenue attribution through accurate system mapping and reconcile if any revenue allocation discrepancies.
- Assist with client portfolio setup in internal systems such as coverage mapping, marketing hierarchy assignments and legal structure documentation.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in client services or banking operations
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
- Language: Proficiency in English and Cantonese required.
- Demonstrate the ability to be client centric and results oriented
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Consistently demonstrate follow-up and organizational skills
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
