Generative AI Lead Engineer Vice President

The Engineering Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for leading a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework.
Responsibilities:
- Database support for critical database systems in Postgres, Mongo, Oracle etc.
- Caching database support for Redis and/or Couchbase
- Working experience on various public cloud platforms
- Thorough understanding and implementation experience of GenAI/AgenticAI use cases with their relevance to Enterprise applications
- Good UNIX scripting and automation experience
- Monitor and address database alerts/issues, capacity constraints, and performance related items.
- Fully analyze performance issues, identify tuning opportunities and advise developers on SQL tuning options.
- Knowledge of automation tools like ANSIBLE and automation scripting / fixing - Desirable
- Interact and communicate with application developers and support teams to understand and articulate.
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service
- Follow-the-Sun 24*7 on call support model
Qualifications:
- 6 plus years of experience with Generative AI
- Strong knowledge of database internals/views to help troubleshoot issues.
- Knowledge of database installation / configuration best practices and Database upgrade/migration approaches.
- Working experience in multiple technologies like Mongo and Caching databases (Redis and Couchbase) is a plus
- Expertise in Python and Java is a plus
- Strong knowledge of various Database high availability and Disaster recovery solutions
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Citi will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization for this position). Position is based in Jacksonville, FL. Candidate must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
