The Sr. Business Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks may include contribution to internal audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Sr. Business Analyst may assist in activities such as monitoring the trading floor access from the regulatory perspective, managing onboarding & offboarding for Markets business and coordinating other administrative or control needs. May work on ad hoc projects as requested.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly supports business managers and generally supports an entire department for the purpose of smooth administrative operation as well as regulatory compliance
  • Manage and coordinate day to day aspects of floor management
  • Complete registrations of the trading personnel with Brokers, Exchange and BOJ terminals as required
  • Facilitate desk move arrangements and assist in planning of the optimal floor arrangement.
  • Coordinate and support overseas travel booking, visa arrangements in accordance with the travel policy for the entire Japan Markets
  • Monitor overseas visitors and support their registrations and provide floor access
  • Assist in obtaining the expense data and making analysis on the budget and actuals for the business.
  • Assist in obtaining pre-approval and ordering restricted supplies and regulated activities.
  • Participate in scheduling, gathering data and preparing meeting materials for the business governance forums to ensure the successful reviews
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external with business partners in building and improving the relationship for smooth daily business transactions
  • Train, coach and guide non-employee administrative staff to enhance the team productivities and efficiencies
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of business analysis experience required
  • Experience creating documentation within standard development methodology
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
