Team/Role Overview:

The Valuation Control Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for contributing to the Independent Price Verification, Valuation Adjustment and Fair Value Hierarchy processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solve valuation issues under little to no supervision, including complex problems

  • Apply in-depth industry knowledge towards the development of new techniques and improving processes or work-flow for the Finance department

  • Serve as a subject matter expert within Valuation Control

  • Identify process gaps and control issues

  • Evaluate moderately complex issues utilizing data, and select the best action between potentially conflicting situations

  • Analyse data by filtering, prioritizing, and validating moderately complex information from multiple sources

  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of product valuation, industry practices and standards

  • Provide solutions for varied issues that potentially impact the broader business


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any finance, accounting or quantitative related subject

  • 5-8 years of finance-related experience, ideally in a valuation, product control, financial control or a related discipline..

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong analytical skills.
