Junior Banking Operations Analyst is a junior level role responsible for execution of transactions and participation in complex processes. The overall objective is to act as a subject matter expert while processing all regular transfers, payments and trade transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Process domestic and cross-border transactions within different payment schemes, including outgoing, incoming and internal payments.

  • Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert) and recommend process improvements.

  • Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, experience on the job and procedural knowledge.

  • Oversee pending cases and ensure that all unresolved cases are brought to completion.

  • Perform daily reconciliation and matching of Nostro items, following up on outstanding items.

  • Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients/vendors.

  • Contribute to and collaborate with Fund Transfer Operations projects as needed.

  • Develop an understanding of how the Fund Transfer Operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree

  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in finance/banking sector, such as:

    • Payments execution

    • Funds settlements

    • Investment Operations

  • Basic knowledge of financial industry products

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • SWIFT knowledge would be a plus

  • Ability to handle and manage large volumes of data

  • Advanced level of English (both verbal and written)
