We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Cognos BI- Developer - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: 25925774 Cognos BI Developer- C11) based in Chennai & Pune, India. In this role, you’re expected to:
- Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code.
- Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
- Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
- Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
- Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
- 4-10 relevant and strong experience in Cognos
- Strong skills and experience in IBM Cognos software to build reports, dashboards, and scorecards to present data in a clear, visual, and actionable format.
- Very Strong & Experience of SQL skills are essential for data extraction and manipulation from databases.
- Very strong Knowledge and Experience of data warehousing principles, table structures, database keys, and efficient data joining techniques and strong performance tuning capabilities.
- Performance Tuning Optimizing reports and data models for efficient performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with big data platforms is a plus.
- Experience with Jira, Light speed /Jenkins/RLM, GitHub
