Full Stack Developer (Angular/.NET Core)
Location: Onsite – Chicago, IL
Duration: 12 months of Contract
Pay Range: $70 - $75 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in Angular 14+ and .NET Core 6+ to join our team. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex applications that align with business goals. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing scalable, high-performance applications, building RESTful APIs, and working with event-driven architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions based on business requirements.
- Design and implement RESTful Web APIs using .NET Core.
- Build and maintain Angular 14+ frontend applications.
- Work with Jira Service Management to build bidirectional API and event/messaging-based system integrations.
- Implement unit testing, integration testing, and automated test suites for application quality assurance.
- Utilize domain-driven design (DDD), Clean Architecture, and CQRS principles.
- Develop event-based integrations using message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.
- Optimize API instrumentation, security frameworks (OAuth, JWT), and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions in an Agile development environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex development challenges.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Angular 14+ – Strong front-end development experience.
- .NET Core 6+ – Expertise in backend development.
- Experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server databases and data access technologies.
- Proficiency in Git version control.
- Strong understanding of functional programming, domain-driven design, Clean Architecture, and CQRS.
- Experience with API security frameworks (OAuth, JWT) and API documentation tools (Swagger).
- Familiarity with Bash/Linux command-line operations.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and Inversion of Control (IoC).
- Previous experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience in F# programming.
- Some knowledge of Python and/or Groovy.
- Experience with Jira Service Management workflow configuration and API integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Elastic APM, or similar monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity-related workflows and implementations.
