About the Role:
Seeking an experienced Reporting Analyst / Reconciliations Analyst to join their Finance Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in performing bank reconciliations, ensuring data accuracy across multiple legacy systems, and supporting the migration to a new reconciliation platform (OneStream). This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and technology—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume transactional environment and can confidently troubleshoot and escalate complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor reconciliation discrepancies.
  • Administer the reconciliation software (TrinTrix) and support its transition to OneStream.
  • Investigate and resolve data mismatches, duplicate transactions, and customer payment errors.
  • Support operational readiness and go-live activities for the OneStream implementation.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and mentorship to junior reconciliation staff.
  • Liaise with internal teams including finance, operations, Group Operational Excellence (GOE), and technology.
  • Identify inefficiencies or process gaps and recommend improvements for automation or optimization.
  • Escalate complex issues and proactively communicate with senior stakeholders.
  • Understand and navigate the web of interconnected legacy systems and large data flows.
Must Haves:
  • 5–10 years of experience in reconciliation, accounting, or finance operations roles at the Enterprise level.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in high-volume transaction environments.
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals (debits, credits, customer payments, bounced cheques, etc.).
  • Proven experience supporting reconciliation systems or large-scale reconciliation projects.
  • Strong business analysis experience within banking or financial services.
  • Comfortable working with legacy systems and navigating complex data environments.
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to pick up the phone and escalate or resolve issues directly.
  • Experience with TrinTrix or similar reconciliation tools; OneStream experience is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with SAP or “Controller”-type responsibilities is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset, but strong English-only candidates will be considered.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with TREX or other financial reporting tools.
  • Background in controller roles (not budgeting, treasury, or planning).
  • Experience working in large, matrixed environments with complex systems and high transaction volumes.
