Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Monitor and manage Linux-based infrastructure hosting critical applications and services.

Perform daily health checks on databases, GRID computing, schedulers, and messaging platforms.

Proactively troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-level issues.

Support release deployments and ensure infrastructure readiness during changes.
-
Participate in incident and problem management, ensuring root cause analysis and prevention.

Monitor infrastructure performance using internal tools and address anomalies.
-
Manage and support infrastructure maintenance activities (e.g., patching, upgrades).
-
Assist in migration projects such as datacenter moves, server migrations, or directory restructures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams during change management and incident response.

Maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and issue resolutions.

Work in rotational shifts including weekends (10:30 AM – 7:30 PM CST or as required).
Required Skills

Strong Linux OS expertise (internals, configuration, troubleshooting).

Experience with IT infrastructure maintenance and upgrade procedures.

Proficiency in monitoring tools and infrastructure health checks.

Knowledge of scripting languages: Python, Shell, or Perl.

Good understanding of network management and basic troubleshooting.

Exposure to enterprise job scheduling and GRID computing environments.

Ability to handle incident/problem/change management processes.

Skilled in root cause analysis and performance tuning.
Pay Rate Range: $55/HR- $60/HR
