Job Description:

Configure and maintain Jira Service Management (Data Center edition), including custom workflows, field configurations, issue security, notifications, and permissions.

Design and implement complex automation workflows using Automation for Jira and Groovy scripting to support evolving business needs.

Extend Jira functionality via Atlassian Plugin SDK and REST APIs; automate repetitive admin tasks and enable data integration with external systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, promote configuration changes through environments, and maintain clear documentation.

Support the development and maintenance of ProForma forms and Insight/Assets configurations within the Jira ecosystem.

Follow SDLC best practices including source control, unit testing, and code/configuration review processes.
Must Haves:
-
4+ years of hands-on experience with Jira Software/Server and Jira Service Management (Data Center Edition).

Strong expertise in Jira automation, Groovy scripting, and Jira REST API.

Proven skills in managing Jira security schemes, permissions, and complex workflows.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical thinking.
Nice to Have (Plusses):
-
Experience integrating Jira with reporting or BI platforms.

Java SDK experience for Jira Data Center extension development.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Exposure to cybersecurity workflows and .NET-based REST API integrations.
