Title: Senior PL/SQL Developer
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6+ Months
Payrate: 60$-65$
Day-to-day:
- Create Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, and functions. Create database objects like tables, views, triggers, types, synonyms based on requirements. Create new applications or enhance existing applications to produce commissions reports.
- Use Oracle Analytical functions, MERGE statements, WITH clause, Partitioning, Job logging, File handling, External tables, and Exception handling in the Oracle PL/SQL code.
- Optimize code by following performance tuning techniques and coding standards established within the team.
- Create and test Unix scripts to transfer reports from Unix server to Windows share using sFTP server
Must-haves:
- 15+ years of experience in Software development
- 12+ years of strong development experience using Oracle PL/SQL including experience using features like Analytical functions, merge statements, WITH clause, oracle partitioning, job logging, exception handling, performance tuning
- 12+ years of experience in Oracle 12c or 19c
- 5+ years of experience in a Data Warehouse environment.
