Job Description:
Client: Banking
Position: DevOps Engineer
Duration: 12 months
Location: Dallas, TX
Payrange: $60-65/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Own infrastructure support and DevOps operations for AWS-hosted enterprise platforms
- Maintain and upgrade EKS clusters, S3, EFS, MSK, VPCs, WAFs, Route53, and related AWS services
- Drive automation through standardized GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Terraform modules
- Lead incident management, RCA documentation, and production issue resolution
- Collaborate with AWS support, incident managers, and client SMEs in real time
- Mentor and review the work of other DevOps engineers globally
- Ensure on-call readiness and US-time zone alignment for escalation coverage
Technical Skills:
- 5+ years experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (EKS, S3, VPCs, WAFs, MSK, etc.)
- 5+ years experience with GitLab (pipelines, runners, merge requests, repo management)
- 5+ years experience with Terraform (state mgmt, modules, property config, troubleshooting)
- Strong English communication and consulting skills - Proven ability to lead teams and provide technical oversight in production-grade environments
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting production workloads in AWS
- Willingness to work in US timezone and participate in on-call rotation
