About the Role:
We are seeking a Workday Configuration Analyst. In this role, you will provide HR system administration and Workday configuration support across multiple modules, ensuring Workday remains a best-in-class platform for employee experience. You will partner closely with IT, business leaders, and vendors to design, configure, and optimize Workday solutions that meet the evolving needs of your organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support complex Workday business processes, with a strong focus on Payroll.
- Perform Workday administrative tasks including tenant configuration, data loads (EIBs), reporting, and integrations.
- Review business workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency and improved system utilization.
- Provide end-user support, testing, issue resolution, training, and change management pre- and post-launch.
- Maintain and enforce system standards across Sandbox and production environments.
- Create and audit reports to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of configuration changes.
- Support Workday feature releases, enhancements, and issue resolution in collaboration with the Workday Architect.
- Maintain accurate documentation and change management records in compliance with audit controls.
- Engage with the Workday Community, User Groups, and Conferences to stay current with best practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, enhancing their understanding of Workday capabilities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, HR Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of Workday HCM experience with hands-on configuration and administration.
- Workday Pro or Workday Certifications strongly preferred.
- Strong expertise in at least three Workday modules, such as Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Payroll, Time, Absence, or Benefits.
- Familiarity with Workday Integrations, business processes, and security framework.
- Experience with EIBs, reporting, data model, and system architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with strong follow-through.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with cloud-based, multi-tenant HR systems.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $60 – $65 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
