Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications.
- Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
- Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
Skils:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor.
- This is a 24/7/365 position on-site in Abilene, Texas, and includes day/night shift, weekend and holiday work with occasional travel based on business requirements.
- Be able to work on a shift schedule that rotates ( 8 to 12-hour shifts), including weekends and holidays.
- Data center networking knowledge.
- Experience in Data Center Infrastructure projects.
- 5 year+ experience in Structured Cabling Copper/Fiber and testing of cables.
