Position Summary
This position will contribute to the teaching and research missions of the Department of Chemistry at Colorado State University through a range of activities. The major commitment will be conducting research in chemical sciences. Along with the research, there is advising and mentoring of graduate students and/or postdoctoral researchers also working on the project.

Required Job Qualifications
  • PhD or equivalent degree in chemistry, chemistry/science education or closely related field.
  • Effective written and oral communications skills.
  • Must show 12 years of research experience to be eligible for the rank of Research Professor.
  • Applicant must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.A. by the proposed start date.
Preferred Job Qualifications
  • Experience with mentoring and advising research students (graduate and/or undergraduate) and/or postdoctoral researchers.
  • Experience in theoretical and/or computational chemistry research.
