Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis Leadership
- Establish and enforce enterprise‑aligned business analysis standards, methodologies, and governance across initiatives
- Ensure consistent, high‑quality requirements documentation (business, functional, non‑functional, data, and process)
- Drive clarity from ambiguity by translating complex business needs into actionable requirements and outcomes
- Provide oversight for end‑to‑end requirements lifecycle, including discovery, refinement, traceability, validation, and change management
Stakeholder & Strategy Partnership
- Serve as a advisor to business and technology leaders on solution design, scope trade‑offs, and delivery approach
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA, and Operations to align requirements with technical and operational capabilities
- Facilitate executive‑level discussions to resolve scope, priority, risk, and dependency issues
- Support strategic initiatives, roadmaps, and investment decisions through data‑driven analysis
Delivery Oversight & Governance
- Ensure requirements quality supports on‑time, on‑budget delivery of initiatives
- Identify and mitigate risks related to scope, dependencies, data, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor key performance indicators related to analysis quality, delivery efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives, metrics, and process optimization
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Business Analysis experience, including 4+ years in a people management or senior leadership role
- Proven experience leading Business Analysts supporting large, complex programs or portfolios
- Strong expertise in requirements management, process modeling, and business‑to‑technology translation
- Experience working in Agile, Hybrid, and/or Waterfall delivery environments
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and executive‑level presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare, insurance, or regulated industry experience
- Experience supporting large‑scale technology modernization or digital transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with data analytics, reporting, and KPI‑driven decision making
- CBAP, PMI‑PBA, or Agile‑related certifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$75,400.00 - $165,954.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
