Position Summary

As part of CVS Health’s mission to simplify health care and help people on their path to better health, the Immunizations team is focused on ensuring CVS Pharmacy is a destination for safe, compliant, and seamless vaccination experiences. In this role, the Product Development Manager, Immunizations will serve as a key owner of immunization workflow design, system integration, and operational readiness across pharmacy workflow systems and downstream reporting platforms. You will lead discovery, testing, and delivery of workflow enhancements that support pharmacy teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and enable accurate immunization reporting at scale. This role partners closely with digital, engineering, clinical, patient safety, legal/compliance, data, field teams and external vendors to translate complex immunization requirements into clear product solutions. You will play a critical role in UAT execution, production readiness, and issue resolution, ensuring enhancements function as intended in real‑world pharmacy environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end immunization workflow enhancements, from discovery and requirements through UAT, launch, and post‑deployment validation across pharmacy workflow systems.

  • Partner with engineering, digital, and data teams to define and validate seed data, configuration rules, and system behavior, including eligibility logic, audit/logging requirements, and state‑specific constraints.

  • Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including store selection, scenario validation, defect triage, and coordination with QA, engineering, and field partners.

  • Provide subject‑matter expertise during issue resolution, including triaging field‑reported concerns and validating system behavior in lower and production environments.

  • Develop and review training materials, knowledge articles, job aids and communications to ensure pharmacy teams and field leaders are prepared for workflow changes.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with clinical, patient safety, legal, inventory, marketing, payer relations, and vendor management teams to ensure alignment with business, regulatory, and patient experience goals.

  • Participate in store visits and field touchpoints to validate that system enhancements perform as designed and support real‑world pharmacy operations.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in product development, product management, or workflow innovation (healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated environments preferred)

  • 2+ year of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to develop requirements, analysis, and executive‑ready materials

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise healthcare systems, integrations, or reporting platforms

  • Familiarity with UAT execution, defect management, and production readiness activities

  • Ability to apply a strategic lens to ambiguous problems and translate them into clear, actionable solutions

  • Experience working with data and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, or similar platforms)

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed

  • Demonstrated comfort operating in fast‑moving, highly regulated environments

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
