Position Summary

The Manager of Supply Chain Systems reports to the Executive Director of the Distribution Center.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage IT and business systems for multi shift distribution operations.
  • Manage a team of computer operators across three shifts.
  • Champion new software applications and drives an iteratively innovative feature roadmap to improving existing applications and processes.
  • Partner with users to be expert on user experience across all applications within your portfolio and work with various DC leaders, vendor partners and IT to deeply understand our process and challenges, and drive improvements to our processes and technology products.
  • Ensures the effective utilization of technology and systems to optimize supply chain management to effectively support the delivery of healthcare services.
  • Assesses and optimizes supply chain systems and processes to enhance and advance end-to-end logistics efficiency, accuracy, and visibility.
  • Directs individuals to utilize data analytics tools and techniques to extract insights, identify trends, and drive informed decision-making in supply chain management.
  • Helps establish and implement compliance measures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements such as procurement policies, product traceability, and quality standards.
  • Implements processes to ensure proper integration and functionality of systems, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, inventory management systems, and procurement software.
  • Assists in the management of relationships with suppliers and service providers, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and compliance monitoring.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to develop and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to develop departmental capabilities and ensure the delivery of exceptional services.
  • Trains and onboards new supply chain team members, subsequently promoting professional development and knowledge sharing between employees.
  • Manages Computer Room at the Distribution Center, making sure Workorders are BOM'd (released in a timely fashion).
  • Coordinates with other departments such as Operations and Transportation to adjust schedule around holidays, peak demands and season lifts.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a Distribution Center environment
  • 3-5 years leadership experience
  • Experience with warehouse technologies (Voice to Pick, Warehouse Management Systems, etc.)
  • Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork
  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
  • Expertise with MS Access, SQL and database queries

Preferred Qualifications

  • APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
  • Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) designation

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
