Position Summary
Work You’ll Do:
The Security Manager (SAP Security Specialist) is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive security strategies for the organization, with a focus on personnel, physical, and information security. This role ensures the protection of classified information and compliance with all applicable security laws, regulations, and policies. The Security Manager creates, maintains, and enforces security policies and procedures, manages security programs, coordinates staff requirements, and serves as a liaison with government security agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage security clearances, process visitor access requests (incoming/outgoing), and maintain security records, including badging.
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard classified information.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with security regulations and standards.
- Investigate security violations and breaches; recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Provide security training and awareness programs for all personnel.
- Oversee access control systems, alarm systems, and other physical security measures.
- Collaborate with IT professionals to ensure the cybersecurity of classified information systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and government security agencies.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans for security incidents.
- Manage the organization’s Communications Security (COMSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) programs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant security laws, regulations, and policies.

Qualifications
Required:
- 7+ years of experience managing personnel and physical security programs in a classified environment
- Familiarity with SAP security requirements, COMSEC, INFOSEC, and physical security standards
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active TS/SCI required
- Ability to travel 10-15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
- Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Information Assurance, or related field
- Experience with Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, SAPPC, or equivalent
- Experience conducting security audits, inspections, and investigations
- Prior experience supporting military/defense organizations
- Experience developing and delivering security training programs
