Work You’ll Do
The Data and Analytics Solutions Lead is a critical member of a technology transformation project for a Federal Health and Human Services agency, responsible for overseeing complex, multi-functional technology projects that are vital to the agency’s mission. This role drives the implementation of enterprise data integration and analytics solutions across a complex federal program landscape. The Data and Analytics Solution Lead is responsible for advancing data-driven decision-making, ensuring alignment with federal mandates and agency priorities.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Data Leadership & Thought Partnership
• Develop and implement strategies, governance frameworks, and performance metrics to align data and analytics initiatives with agency mission and federal priorities.
• Lead agency-wide efforts to create, maintain, and enhance enterprise data architectures and analytics solutions.
• Prepare and present executive-level dashboards, insights, and recommendations to senior leaders (CIO, CTO, OIG, GAO, OMB).
• Advise agency leadership on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data management, analytics, and artificial intelligence.
• Solution Design & Delivery
• Develop and drive use of analytics to enhance decision-making and program outcomes.
• Architect and deploy advanced data integration platforms (e.g., using tools such as Palantir, Tableau, Power BI, Power Apps).
• Oversee the full lifecycle of complex enterprise analytics projects—from scoping/discovery through design, development, documentation, user enablement, and sustainability.
• Optimize the use of enterprise tools to enable collaboration, reporting, and insights for program offices and stakeholders.
• Align data analytics support with federal policies, including compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP, Clinger-Cohen Act, E-Government Act, Privacy Act, NIST Standards, and other federal mandates.

• Maintain compliance with federal data governance and privacy standards.
Proactively support improvements in enterprise data integration and business operations through analytics-driven insights.

Qualifications
Required:
• Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, analytics, and business intelligence, with a focus on complex, preferably federal, environments
• Prior experience working in a health or human services agency
• Experience directly supporting senior government executives (COO/CFO/CIO/CTO level) to support leadership decision making using analytics, with responsibility for executive relationship development
• Prior experience performing analytics and data science functions with all required data and AI platforms (e.g., Palantir, Databricks, Python, SQL, Tableau, Credal)
• Familiarity with a portfolio of other enterprise IT tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, Smartsheet, Confluence, Jira, GitHub)
• Familiarity with federal IT mandates and standards (NIST, FISMA, Clinger-Cohen, FedRAMP, Privacy Act, Section 508)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
• Ability to travel up to 80%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
• Must be available during core federal work hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM ET)
• Must be present in office for regular on-site collaboration
