Position Summary
Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey—before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions.
Work You’ll Do
Deloitte has been engaged to support the client in IT business management, cybersecurity management, data management, infrastructure management, and network security modernization management. You will be part of a large and dynamic team enabling the client to fulfill its primary mission of protecting and providing access to the right technology and data to empower the client’s mission. The client works with operational, intelligence, business, and technology divisions and field offices to jointly prioritize technical and informational needs and drive informed, secure, and strategic investments.
The Project Manager's primary objective will be to drive the execution of the client’s strategic plan for technology capabilities. They will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of complex IT programs and projects, with a specific focus on integrating and leveraging emerging technologies throughout the organization. This includes leading all development and implementation efforts, acting as the central point of contact when needed.
1. Proactively engages with both internal and external stakeholders to meticulously manage expectations and ensure all project goals are in perfect alignment.
2. Identifies potential risks early on and implement effective mitigation strategies, developing robust response plans to safeguard project success.
3. Regularly briefs executive leadership on comprehensive project status, critical risks or blockers and upcoming strategic initiatives.
4. Has general Government budget and acquisition knowledge to support government leads internal investment projects.
5. Clearly defines project scope, develops detailed execution plans, set achievable milestones, and efficiently manages all allocated resources.
6. Ensures the delivery of high-quality end products, meticulously closing out projects after conducting thorough post-project evaluations to finalize all activities.
7. Ensures quality assurance across the lifecycle of projects in accordance with Company and federal IT governance frameworks.
8. Delivers strategic direction for all projects under their purview, prioritizing their sustained effectiveness and overall viability.
9. Abilities to help build AI knowledge and to drive the technical implementation of AI & Emerging Technology solutions to ensuring alignment with overall IT and data strategy
10. Applies project management best practices in line with client frameworks and industry standards.
11. Creates and executes outreach campaigns and communicate effectively with key stakeholders

Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Active Top Secret security clearance required
• 8+ years experience in project management (AI & Data), Stakeholder engagement planning, risk mitigation, technology and partner ecosystem, and procurement management
Preferred:
• PMP Certification
• Cloudscape
• ITIL Foundations
• FinOps Support
