Position Summary

Our Deloitte AI & Engineering team to transform technology platforms, drive innovation, and help make a significant impact on our clients’ success. Your contributions can help clients improve financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation.

Work You’ll Do

  • Assist in maintaining high uptime for core business applications through proactive monitoring and prompt issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with Infrastructure vendor to develop, test, and improve DR plans for production systems, ensuring rapid recovery withing the defined RPO and RTO in case of outages.
  • Implement and optimize application-level monitoring, logging, and alerting to detect and resolve issues early to adhere with SLA timeline.
  • Oversee the response to production application incidents, coordinate root-cause investigations, and oversee corrective actions
  • Drive automation of build and deployment processes, support parallel production release streams, integrating quality gates and rollback procedures.
  • Serve as the liaison between development, QA, and external infrastructure teams, having high-quality production deployments and clear escalation channels.
  • Document and enhance production support processes, incorporating feedback and incident learnings.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure vendor for issue the application infrastructure requirements, issue escalation and broadcast communications.
  • Support the Technical Manager in oversight of application support, and production system health.
  • Help facilitate ongoing technology leadership and operations during times when the Technical Manager is not present

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in IT operations, or infrastructure management, including two (2) years of supervisory or technical leadership experience
  • 3+ years of experience in managing above technologies in client environment
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred:
  • Hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (preferably AWS), CI/CD automation, Cloud Native Serverless Architecture, incident management, and application monitoring.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $137,700 to $229,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
