Position Summary

Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.

Work You’ll Do

As a Project Delivery Manager on the project, you will:

  • Coordinate Funding & Contract Support: Collaborate with budget and finance teams to secure funding for personnel, travel, and contract-related tasks. Prepare and submit cost estimates using predefined cost sheets, and track the approval and obligation of funds for various task orders.
  • Contract & Status Tracking: Maintain detailed spreadsheets to monitor the status of all contracts and ensure that databases stay current with approvals and funding needed for all active task orders.
  • Financial Reporting: Conduct monthly financial reporting, create detail-supported quarterly financial statements, and deliver schedules on compensation, expenses, certain pay types, and revenue.
  • Review & Analyze Financial Activity: Review monthly cash disbursements, receipts, billing invoices, petty cash, and related accountant activity to ensure accurate records and identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Support: Assist in processes related to insurance, contract revisions and interpretation, taxes, fixed assets, cash management, and banking operations.

The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Must be willing to work on site in Chantilly, VA 100% of the time.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • 2+ years reviewing monthly financial activity such as cash disbursements, cash receipts, billing invoices, and petty cash.
  • 2+ years using and maintaining spreadsheets and financial databases to track contract status, approvals, and funding.
  • 3+ years managing or supporting budget forecasting and budget development activities.
  • 3+ years preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements, including reporting schedules for compensation, expenses, and revenue.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, supporting contract management and financial reporting in a government or commercial setting.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,000 to $198,400.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
