Work You’ll Do
The Marketing & Communications Specialist will support the Government and Public Services (GPS) industry marketing team by assisting with the execution of marketing programs and initiatives aligned to business priorities. This role focuses on day‑to‑day campaign support, content execution, event coordination, and operational marketing activities, working under the direction of a GPS Marketing Manager or Senior Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the development and execution of strategic marketing plans that help position Deloitte to win government contracts, including assisting with thought leadership efforts such as white papers, events, and omnichannel marketing campaigns.
- Assist with content planning and coordination by supporting research and data driven content development that aligns to each business’s strategic marketing goals.
- Coordinate and manage updates for Deloitte’s external website to help generate page visits and drive engagement of featured content.
- Help execute paid and organic marketing campaigns by coordinating with internal partners, tracking timelines, and supporting campaign launch, measurement, and optimization activities.
- Comfortable drafting / reviewing various types of content, including ad copy, email marketing, web copy, social copy, and marketing collateral.
- Supporting marketplace event project management.
- Work within a matrixed organization to support internal stakeholders, contribute to project prioritization, and help ensure timely delivery of high priority marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with internal partners while escalating risks, issues, or dependencies to marketing leadership as needed.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred)
- 1+ years of post‑college experience in marketing or communications
- 1+ years of experience supporting marketing campaigns and programs, with a focus on execution and coordination
- 1+ years of experience with marketing fundamentals, including content marketing, audience segmentation, and/or basic SEO concepts
- Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on business needs
- Must be legally allowed to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting marketing efforts within government or professional services environments
- Comfort working in a fast paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong written communication and editing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,200 to $100,300.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
