We’re searching for a Senior Security System Analyst to lead the strategy, operations, and improvement of Dexcom’s physical security systems. You will play a pivotal role in protecting our assets, ensuring business continuity, and encouraging a secure workplace environment.
This role involves managing the full lifecycle of Dexcom’s physical security systems—from access control and surveillance to compliance and system maintenance. If you have a deep understanding of security systems, excellent leadership skills, and a consistent track record in handling end-to-end security operations, we encourage to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and report on system security posture and trends to advise future strategies.
- Apply Dexcom’s global security policies to local operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Assess and enforce access control based on the principles of least privilege and need-to-know.
- Evaluate change, configuration, and release management processes to ensure system integrity.
- Supervise and improve the efficiency of physical security measures and technologies.
- Develop and test failover procedures to support business continuity in case of system disruption.
- Ensure all security system operations and maintenance activities are accurately documented and regularly updated.
- Supervise cybersecurity-enabled physical security technologies to reduce risk.
- Recommend and implement changes to resolve vulnerabilities and enhance overall system security.
- Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems through proper security implementation.
- Address and resolve deficiencies identified through security testing, or raise for leadership review.
- Recommend adjustments based on audit findings, system testing, or evolving business needs.
- Maintain and troubleshoot employee ID card systems and physical access solutions.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all security system issues and vendor coordination.
- Verify that minimum security requirements are met for all applications and procedures.
- Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning.
Qualification
- 6+ years of experience in physical security systems administration or IT-related roles with proven expertise in project management and operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of Access Control, Video Management Systems (VMS), and physical security hardware (locks, sensors, IoT devices, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as AMAG, Lenel, C-Cure, Genetec, SWHouse, or Milestone.
- Analytical approach with experience in SOC/Command Center environments.
- Proven track record to troubleshoot incidents, assess root causes, and implement long-term security solutions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills—fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Able to effectively engage with cross-functional teams, leadership, and external vendors.
- Experience managing multiple vendors and security-related budgets.
- Solid understanding of business continuity principles is a plus.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft 365 tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, Teams, and calendar management.
Education & Certifications
- Diploma, Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a relevant field.
