Meet the team:
The Global Security Supervisor’s primary responsibility is to manage the Dexcom Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) with a focus on ensuring delivery of a robust physical security posture for our assets and personnel. This role is responsible for strategic planning, incident management, and leading a team of security professionals, while leveraging advanced security technologies to provide superior security services in alignment with corporate policies and regulatory standards.
Where you come in:
- Operational Leadership:
- Direct daily GSOC operations, ensuring continuous monitoring and rapid response to physical security incidents using tools such as CCTV/VMS, access control systems, and case management systems.
- Oversee scheduling, training, and performance management of GSOC personnel, ensuring proficiency in the use of Everbridge Mass Notification, ONTIC, and risk reporting systems.
- Policy & Procedure Development:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve security protocols and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all GSOC operations and integrated tools comply with corporate policies and best practices.
- Incident Management:
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies when necessary.
- Utilize Everbridge for mass notifications and risk reporting systems to ensure timely communication and documentation during incidents.
- Maintain thorough documentation and provide regular reports on incident trends and operational performance.
- Strategic Planning & Budgeting:
- Identify emerging threats and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks, integrating systems such as ONTIC and advanced reporting platforms for data-driven decision making.
- Manage the GSOC budget, including resource allocation and procurement of state-of-the-art security technologies.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external security stakeholders, delivering regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure seamless integration and functionality of security systems like CCTV/VMS, access control, and case management tools across departments.
What makes you successful:
- Experience in physical security or security operations, with supervisory or team lead experience required.
- Proven leadership abilities and strong decision-making skills under pressure.
- Extensive knowledge of security systems including CCTV/VMS, access control systems, and mass notification platforms (e.g., Everbridge).
- Demonstrated experience with risk management tools (e.g., ONTIC) and reporting systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience and Education Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years of industry experience
- Informal management / team lead experience

Salary:
$78,900.00 - $131,500.00
