What you'll be doing
As a Facilities Building Engineer Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations and improvement projects. You will:
Support daily building maintenance activities, including painting, repair, and general upkeep to ensure a safe and functional workplace.
Assist in the inspection and minor repairs of lifts, escalators, roller shutters, and automated doors, gaining hands-on exposure to core building systems.
Learn to use the Maximo system to log, track, and manage both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
Contribute to building improvement projects — from planning and execution to post-project evaluations (this will also serve as your internship project).
Collaborate with the hard services operations team, learning on-the-job from skilled professionals in real-time situations.
Help manage spare part orders and track material usage, ensuring timely availability and support for ongoing maintenance work.

Are pursuing a diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Building Maintenance, or a related field.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Are proactive, organized, and able to multitask and think critically.
Have a genuine interest in building systems, facilities operations, and project coordination.
Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Maximo or AutoCAD is a plus!
