Internship Department Details:

  • Department Name: ITDNA Business Intelligence

  • Business Function: Information Technology

  • Team Highlights: ITDNA Business Intelligence team is an enterprise horizontal function providing end to end data and analytics SME support and services across the business. We provide front end platform management, analytics tool enablement, data curation modeling, metric and dashboard development, and general analytics SME support.

Where you come in:

  • You will be a key contributor to the Business Intelligence team and the larger Dexcom Analytics Organization, working with Data Engineers to provide actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.

  • You will be working to provide key operating metrics and insights; this is the place where you can use your data analysis expertise for good in the world.

  • You will be leveraging state-of-the-art technologies to create solutions that improve the lives of people with diabetes.

What makes you successful:

  • You analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.

  • You construct forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.

  • You create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.

  • You may directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.

Travel Required:

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Requires a completed Bachelor’s degree.

  • Must be a currently enrolled Master’s, JD, or PhD student at an accredited college or university in a STEM discipline with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.

Non-Exempt Salary Details:

The annualized base salary range for this role is $35.00 to $45.00. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
