The Impact you will have in this role:
The Strategic Management & Governance family is responsible for serving as a dedicated technology resource for advancing the firm's business opportunities and providing industry thought leadership for demonstrating new technologies. Manages significant programs and projects including strategic organizational change, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering, and all general business management initiatives.
The Business Systems Analysis role specializes in acting as the main interface between Technology and specific business / product areas, identifying, documenting and analyzing business requirements, creating detailed project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams. The Business Systems Analysis role specializes in acting as the main interface between Technology and specific business / product areas, identifying, documenting and analyzing business requirements, participating in agile development as a key stakeholder by validating user stories for INVEST and Definition of Ready criteria, acting as product owner for non-functional requirements, ensuring requirements are captured for all parts of the system from end to end, coordinating with project teams, and addressing inquires by regulators, auditors, and business users.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Validate user stories by analyzing business requirements, and ensuring there are no defects caused by missed requirements
- Lead workflow design and contribute to user experience design, where applicable
- Collaborate with project team, product management, and collaborators on assigned aspects of the project
- Provide estimates of resource needs and priority of work with related collaborators
- Provide guidance to team members by elaborating the necessary details required through all phases of projects
- Use SQL for thorough analysis of data to detect and articulate edge cases
- Provide input to developers and Test Engineers to ensure System Integration and User Acceptance Test scripts properly reflect functional and non-functional requirements
- Participate in reviews of SIT results and defect reviews; support user acceptance testing as needed
- Contribute to system documentation under company-specific best practices and standards
- Recommend controls by identifying gaps and crafting solutions to automate manual processes
- Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; advances appropriately
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. About the Team
The IT SIFMU Delivery Department supports core Clearing and Settlement application delivery for DTC, NSCC and FICC. The department also develops and supports Asset Services, Wealth Management & Insurance Services and Master Reference Data applications.
