The Impact you will have in this role:
The Platform Engineering & Delivery (Private Cloud) team provides services and solutions for the planning, design, implementation and support of operating systems, virtual infrastructure, storage and backups. The primary focus is centered on reducing risk and improving the efficiency, performance, stability, security, and quality of all systems and platforms. Sustaining Storage & Data Protection supports industry standard NAS and SAN platforms to provide both a stable and robust business environment. This role supports key project driven initiatives, as well as operational tasks to maintain the integrity of infrastructure environment. As a Systems Engineer, one will be responsible for providing technical leadership across a distributed virtualized environment.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Implement and support new technologies within the infrastructure environment.
- Maintain stability of the infrastructure environment.
- Support and coordinate scheduling and execution of system maintenance, release updates, upgrades, and/ or new technology deployments adhering to company's standard change management protocol.
- Assist key projects and deliverables related to the infrastructure environment.
- Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:
- Must have working knowledge of the Dell/EMC VMAX, PowerMax, Unity, VNX and VNXe platforms.
- Must have working knowledge of STAR and SRDF replication technologies.
- Must have working knowledge of Unisphere and SYMCLI.
- Must have working knowledge of NetApp OnTap 9.x with a focus on NFS and CIFS.
- Must have working knowledge of NetApp SnapMirror replication.
- Must have working knowledge of Brocade and Cisco fibrechannel switches.
- Must have working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Must have working knowledge of networking principles.
- Must have current knowledge of IaC and DevOps in an infrastructure environment
- Must have knowledge of Phyton, Ansible and Terraform.
