The Impact you will have in this role:
Being a member of the Global Service Bureau (GSB) team, the Senior Analyst is responsible for processing client cases following agreed procedures and established quality standards. Specific responsibility includes the onboarding and maintenance of client’s Standing Settlement Instructions (SSIs) in ALERT, analyzing and mapping client data to ensure that the Standing Settlement Instructions are compliant with industry standards and market best practices. The Senior Analyst is expected to continuously be updated on the changes around ALERT Best Practices, market rules, and industry standards.
The role requires the highest level of attention to detail where the Senior Analyst should be able to accurately capture and transfer information and instruction from clients to our system, able to analyze the data, compare this against information sent by the client, identify missing mandatory information and non-compliant data versus validation rules. He/she is expected to determine turnaround time target for assigned cases, fees for billable projects, communicate with internal and external parties on project progress and ensuring client satisfaction during and after the completion of each project.
The Senior Analyst role requires the knowledge of the automation technology and workflows, the understanding of how to perform the GSB tasks using the tool and be able to evaluate and solve problems to improve the quality of each model to enable the accurate completion of the client request.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Process all GSB tasks through timely prioritization of assigned cases and adheres to agreed procedures and case management guidelines.
- Actively manage open cases taking responsibility for the completion of each case with the highest level of accuracy and within the committed turn-around time
- Responsible for analyzing client Standing Settlement Instructions (SSI) against industry standards and market best practices and ensure accurate mapping of client’s Standing Settlement Instructions in ALERT.
- Builds and strengthens relationship clients thru timely response and completion of cases and/or escalating issues that he/she is not able to resolve
- Builds relationship with internal stakeholders who he/she works with for most of their cases/projects such as Integration, Product Management or Development and Relationship Managers by providing timely status update and discuss potential issues that could delay completion of the project
- Active participation in developing skills be it technical, product knowledge enhancement, tools and soft skills to be able to effectively and efficiently handle client requests
- As assigned by the Leadership team, handles complex, high volume cases such as migrations or maintenance projects which requires thorough analysis of live data. Organizes client meetings to provide project status and gather missing information that is necessary for the completion of the project
- Provides support to Global Custodian Projects thru data upload and performs data reconciliation whenever necessary
- Ensures timely escalation of potential issues to the Leadership team
- Assist in the building of the automation models to improve the efficiencies by teaching the tool the ALERT best practices
- Fulfil client requests using the automation workflows, and challenge the tool to prevent risks and evaluate the accuracy and performance of the models by analyzing the quality produced by the tool through completing quality checks/Identify discrepancies against the AI tool output vs best practice guidance and raise any exceptions to leadership.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

- An understanding of statistical modelling techniques e.g. Classification and regression techniques, Neural Networks etc
- Feature Engineering & Selection – Improving model accuracy by selecting relevant features.
Data Engineering & Preprocessing:
- Data Wrangling & Cleaning- Handling missing data, outliers, and inconsistencies
- ETL (Extract, Transform, Load Pipelines) – prepare data for analyses.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
