The Global Business Operations (GBO) organization is responsible for all operations and asset services supporting the following DTCC businesses: The Depository Trust Company (DTC), National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC), Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC) – Government Securities Division (GSD) & Mortgage-Backed Securities Division (MBSD), Wealth Management Services (WMS), Insurance & Retirement Services (I&RS), Solutions Operations - Global Market Entity Identifier (GMEI), and Global Service Bureau (GSB). GBO's mission is to provide the Securities Industry with superior operations processing and client services support in an environment that minimizes risk and cost while maximizing efficiency. Underwriting is the entry point for securities to be made eligible for DTC services. An eligible security is one that is freely tradable is qualified to be held at DTC and serviced through DTC's electronic book-entry system. Products and services offered includes the New Issue Eligibility Program which allows underwriters, DTC participants or Issuer Paying Agents to submit eligibility requests for new and secondary security offerings and to create and service Money Market Instruments (MMI). Securities that are eligible for DTC are provided the full set of Asset Services. Securities that do not meet DTC's standards for eligibility can qualify for Custody Eligibility. This is a service that enables DTC Participants to leverage the DTC vault to secure and track such physical certificates and take part in a subset of Asset Services products.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Executes on operational processes by following documented procedures and job aides, able to make suggestions on improving process and efficiency. Processes specialized workflows, resolves exceptions, assists with complex inquiries.
- Takes ownership of workload, ensures deliverables are met in line with procedures, metrics, and benchmarks; while adhering to critical timeframes; ability to manage competing priorities.
- Builds knowledge of department controls. Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk, escalates appropriately.
- Maintains a steadfast focus on client service, including responding to inquiries timely and accurately, resolving issues promptly.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate issue resolution, process improvements, and risk reduction.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills, active engagement in meetings and displays a curiosity to learn and grow; accepts feedback given and applies to role.
- Facilitates training sessions for junior team members as directed by management.
- Participates in projects and initiatives.
- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Enterprise Services comprises of multiple business platforms including Client Services, Global Business Operations, Business Architecture, Data Strategy and Analytics, and Digital Services, which report into the Chief of Enterprise Services.
These grouped platforms enable the business to optimize delivery for clients, generate efficiencies and resilience, and enable consistency in the business digitization strategy, processes and end-to-end best practices.
The Global Business Operations (GBO) organization supports DTCC’s core businesses by delivering reliable operations and asset services while minimizing risk and cost. Underwriting is the entry point for securities to become eligible for DTC services, determining whether securities can be held and serviced through DTC’s electronic book‑entry system. The team supports the New Issue Eligibility Program, including new and secondary offerings and Money Market Instruments (MMIs). Securities not eligible for full DTC services may qualify for Custody Eligibility, allowing participants to securely hold and track physical certificates while accessing a subset of Asset Services.
