You will partner with business architecture, strategy, technology, and stakeholder teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions that improve how DTCC documents, connects, and reports on business processes, risks, controls, applications, teams, and enterprise metadata. This role will help position HOPEX as a trusted source of structured, approved data that supports enterprise insights, automation opportunities, reporting, and future AI-enabled capabilities.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Translate business architecture and functional requirements into clear technical requirements, solution designs, HOPEX configurations, and platform enhancements
- Configure, customize, and enhance HOPEX capabilities to support business process documentation, metadata modeling, workflow needs, reporting requirements, and stakeholder-approved data structures
- Partner with business architecture teams to understand how business processes operate today, how they should evolve in the future, and how those processes should be modeled within HOPEX
- Build and maintain relationships between processes, risks, controls, applications, teams, tools, and other metadata to enable enterprise-level insights and trusted reporting
- Develop and support integrations, data pipelines, and data movement across authoritative systems using SQL, Python, APIs, and related technical approaches
- Build and enhance analytics and reporting capabilities through EA Insights/Power BI, including semantic models, reusable datasets, dashboards, and reporting views that help answer business questions such as automation levels, process ownership, tool usage, and risk/control linkages
- Troubleshoot platform, data, configuration, workflow, and reporting issues; identify root causes and implement sustainable fixes
- Learn HOPEX capabilities through hands-on implementation, vendor documentation, mentoring, and project delivery; apply that learning to configure the tool for specific business and technical requirements
- Support the continued expansion and scalability of the Enterprise Architecture Platform as adoption grows across DTCC departments and business areas
- Contribute to platform support processes, including intake, defect triage, office hours, user questions, documentation, and continuous improvement of the user experience
- Create clear documentation, walkthroughs, demos, and executive-ready materials that explain technical solutions and platform capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, data quality, reporting reliability, platform adoption, and future AI-enabled insights by strengthening the quality and structure of approved enterprise data
**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **
Qualifications:

- 1–3 years of experience in platform configuration, technical business analysis, data/BI development, system integration, technical product delivery, or a related technology-focused role
- Experience translating business or functional requirements into technical requirements, configurations, workflows, reporting solutions, or platform enhancements
- Hands-on technical aptitude with the ability to learn niche platforms, read documentation, understand how tools work, and configure solutions based on specific business needs
- Experience with APIs, integrations, data pipelines, ETL/ELT patterns, SQL, Python, or data movement across systems
- Experience with BI and reporting tools, preferably Power BI, including dashboards, semantic models, data modeling, and reusable datasets
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose issues across data, system configuration, integrations, and reporting outputs
- Ability to work with business process information and metadata, including connections between processes, applications, risks, controls, teams, and tools
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders, architects, and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in agile environments, supporting backlogs, managing iterative enhancements, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver incremental platform improvements
- Curiosity, ownership, and a learning mindset, with the ability to become increasingly self-sufficient in a specialized platform environment over time
Talents Needed for Success:
- Experience with HOPEX, Mega HOPEX, enterprise architecture platforms, business architecture tools, process modeling tools, or metadata-driven platforms
- Exposure to business architecture, enterprise architecture, process architecture, digital transformation, automation initiatives, or process improvement programs
- Experience supporting platforms that serve as a source of truth for structured, approved enterprise data
- Experience connecting process data to risks, controls, applications, ownership, tools, teams, or other enterprise metadata
- Experience creating reporting or analytics that help stakeholders answer cross-enterprise process, automation, risk, control, or operational questions
