- DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
We are seeing Senior Technology Research and Innovation (TRI) Analyst that supports cutting-edge technology adoption and innovation across the organization. Candidate will explore emerging technologies like Web3, blockchain, and decentralized systems to identify strategic opportunities that enhance business capabilities and future-proof our technology stack. You will work closely with other team members, including architects and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to the growth of the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers and product/business teams in understanding and documenting technical requirements for blockchain and digital asset initiatives.
- Help analyze existing systems and workflows, and contribute ideas for improving efficiency using blockchain capabilities such as automation and traceability.
- Support the team in researching and documenting blockchain use cases (e.g., payments, tokenization, digital identity).
- Contribute to technical assessments, proofs of concept, or prototypes.
- Translate defined requirements into code by building and maintaining blockchain-based applications, APIs, or smart contracts.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Financial Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience with blockchain or distributed ledger technology (DLT) projects
Talents Needed for Success:
- Practical experience with one or more blockchain networks (Ethereum, Bitcoin, Canton, Besu, Stellar).
- Understanding of at least one domain area such as post-trade, payments, identity, or tokenization, with an ability to translate that context into engineering decisions.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and foundational concepts like hashing, signatures, key management, secrets handling.
- Understanding of blockchain fundamentals: smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, digital assets, tokenization.
- Hands-on experience with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, or similar.
- Familiarity with Web3 technologies and decentralized application frameworks.
- Knowledge of crypto industry trends and blockchain ecosystems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities.
- Experience with smart contract development or auditing.
- Knowledge of tokenization standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, etc.).
- Exposure to custody solutions and collateral optimization workflows.
- Understanding interoperability protocols and cross-chain solutions.

Serves as a dedicated technology resource for advancing DTCC’s business opportunities and providing industry thought leadership for leveraging new technology.
