As an Accounting Analyst in DTCC's Financial Reporting & Accounting (FR&A) organization, you will help support accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting activities that enable accurate financial information across the enterprise. This team advises on accounting treatment for complex transactions and supports the preparation of financial reports used by management, regulators, and other stakeholders.

About the EDGE Program

EDGE is DTCC’s 18-month early-career development program for recent graduates. The program combines hands-on business experience, structured learning, mentorship, networking, and regular feedback to help analysts build technical, functional, and leadership capabilities.

What you will do

Role Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial activity and support accounting processes used to maintain accurate books and records.

  • Assist with monthly close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

  • Support the preparation of financial reports, schedules, workpapers, and documentation used for management and regulatory reporting.

  • Collaborate with accounting, finance, and other business partners to gather information, investigate issues, and support reporting deadlines.

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls, documentation, and operational effectiveness.

What will help you succeed

Required

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Expected graduation date: May 2027

  • Minimum GPA: 3.2

  • Authorization to work permanently in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Internship, project, research, student organization, volunteer, or leadership experience related to the role.

  • Interest in financial reporting, accounting operations, financial controls, and financial services.

  • Exposure to Excel, financial statement analysis, ERP systems, accounting processes, or reporting tools.
