At PQI, we use data to help game teams create unforgettable player experiences. We analyse behaviour, design feedback events, and turn insights into action. As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll work with developers, designers, and researchers to ensure our games meet player expectations. You'll report to the Director, PQI Data, and play a key role in shaping how we understand our players. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work remotely or on-site, depending on project needs.
Responsibilities
- Partner with teams to define goals and provide data-driven guidance on player behaviour and feedback design.
- Analyse data to identify risks, opportunities, and trends; share insights with partners.
- Write scripts and queries to clean and transform data.
- Build reports and visualisations to support playtest strategies and product improvements.
- Promote best practices in dashboards and data visualisation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in an analytical role, in gaming, tech, or consumer insights.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics).
- Foundation in statistics: regression, classification, probability, and modelling.
- Advanced SQL skills; experience with large datasets.
- Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Comfortable presenting insights to all audiences.
Bonus: Experience with Python or R, A/B testing, or behavioural analytics.
