Join the front lines of gameplay analytics and AI innovation with one of the industry’s most iconic first-person shooter franchises. As Senior Director, Battlefield Data & Analytics, you will lead the analytics and AI strategy across live service and new development for a globally distributed Battlefield studio organization, spanning DICE (Stockholm), Ripple Effect (Los Angeles), Criterion (Guildford), and Motive (Montreal). You and your team will drive a holistic approach to player insights, AI-powered personalization, gameplay optimization, and live service health—shaping the future of Battlefield’s player experience and guiding data driven decision-making across the franchise’s most critical moments.
As a key strategic leader, you will set the vision for how analytics and AI fuel Battlefield’s growth—guiding feature development, optimizing the game economy, innovating in matchmaking systems, and evolving live service strategies. You will empower your team to deliver high-impact insights, define new data products, partner with engineering teams to expand our technical foundation, and work directly with studio and publishing leadership to ensure player experience is at the core of decision making.
Responsibilities
Set the gameplay analytics and AI strategy for Battlefield, driving a player-first, data-informed approach across live service and new development.
Lead your team in delivering actionable insights that enhance player engagement, retention, and monetization, and fuel live service growth and innovation.
Shape new game systems and features by embedding player behavior insights and data-driven experimentation throughout development cycles
Identify and advance AI and machine learning applications to drive personalization, matchmaking, and player lifecycle management
Partner closely with studio, technology and other key functional leaders to ensure analytics and AI capabilities support Battlefield’s creative and commercial goals
Collaborate with engineering and platform partners to build scalable, future-proof data infrastructure and tools.
Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing analytics team with a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture.
Represent Battlefield Analytics at the executive level, ensuring alignment across EA's FPS and Entertainment portfolio and contributing to broader analytics and AI strategy
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Behavioral Science, or similar)
10+ years in analytics, with 7+ years leading high-performing analytics or data science teams
Strong experience with live service analytics, game economy optimization, and player behavioral insights
Demonstrated success in partnering with senior product and studio leaders to drive impact across live service and new title development
Experience applying AI and machine learning techniques in player experience, personalization, or operational optimization contexts
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to executive audiences
Familiarity with advanced analytics and data technologies (SQL, Python, experimentation, machine learning, real-time analytics pipelines)
A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player motivations and engagement in multiplayer and live service games

Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
