Asia Planning Analyst, EA Entertainment

Main Purpose of the Role

The Asia Planning Analyst, EA Entertainment is part of the Asia EA Entertainment Franchise team focused on supporting planning, forecasting and reporting across the franchise portfolio for titles such as Apex Legends, Battlefield, Sims and many more. This role will report into the Asia Publishing Planning Manager - Entertainment and collaborate closely with Commercial, Marketing, Product, Intelligence and Finance teams across Asia to optimize performance and drive growth. This is a 12-month EA employee contract with the possibility of extension and/or conversion.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full packaged game forecast lifecycle for the Asia EA Entertainment portfolio, including top-down allocation support and scenario building to support decision-making.
  • Track and report on pre-orders, sell-in, and sell-through performance for AAA HD game launches across key Asian markets on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Create and present detailed performance reports across all revenue streams for EA Entertainment titles in Asia, highlighting commercial trends and key outcomes.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align on short- and long-term forecasts for franchise performance in Asia.
  • Deliver actionable insights to the Asia Entertainment Franchise leads by analyzing market share, title performance, and commercial ROI.
  • Recommend localized pricing and promotional strategies, grounded in regional market trends, competitive benchmarks, and player behaviour insights.
  • Assess post-launch title performance, identifying key revenue drivers such as price elasticity, campaign effectiveness, competitive activity, and shifting player demand.
  • Generate custom analyses and dashboards to support real-time commercial and marketing strategy development for high-impact decisions.

Skills and Knowledge Required

  • 2+ years of experience forecasting revenue, experience in mobile gaming, video games or live service forecasting an advantage
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask
  • Excellent Excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups, index+match, charts and graphs
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Working knowledge of SQL, data visualization software package (e.g., Tableau or R packages) & PowerPoint

Key Performance Measures

  • Successful delivery of projects supported by clear, compelling presentations and thorough, insightful analysis
  • Supporting the Franchise team to meet and exceed Plan revenue
  • Support timely and accurate delivery of commercial risk and opportunities for the Asia leadership team
