DevOps Engineer - CI Automation

Description & Requirements
We are seeking an experienced DevOps CI Automation Engineer to enhance Continuous Integration (CI) and Build systems for our EA Digital Platform SDK product across mobile, PC, Mac, and HD Consoles. You will collaborate with software engineers from the SDK development team and other partner teams while implementing and maintaining automation pipelines, workflow tools, and infrastructure.
This is a hybrid remote/in-office role reporting to an Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities:
You will work as a technical liaison with development teams to address build issues and improvements.
You will oversee and expand our Build & Test Automation systems, Continuous Integration and delivery processes, and Metrics Reporting.
You will monitor automation systems and respond to support requests, outages, and breakages.
You will evaluate new technologies and software products for potential integration into our systems
Qualifications:
2+ years of professional development experience with Jenkins on Linux and Windows
Experience with scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, or others
Proficiency with containerization (eg. Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration)
Experience with cloud deployments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Helm, Terraform)
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry)
Experience with version control - Git workflows and branching strategies
System administration skills (e.g., Windows, MacOS, Linux)
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
