As a software engineer, you are an essential part of the game creation process and are involved in the feature design and implementation of the game and live service.
You will report to an Technical Director.
Job location: You will work in Shanghai.
Responsibilities
- Oversee various metrics of the online service.
- Identify and resolve server-side technical and live issues.
- Streamline live service and workflow
- Develop and maintain server-side features, including live operational tools
- Collaborate with team members to accomplish daily tasks as scheduled.
- Document the technical design, solution, and spec to share Team members.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
- Communicate efficiently with non-technical stakeholders about technical solution
- Report to leadership about progression and manage risk of given tasks
Qualifications
- More than 8 years PC/Mobile game server development experience.
- Proficient in Java, C++ or Golang (at least one).
- Familiar with microservices architecture, able to design server clusters supporting massive users.
- Familiar with network programming, experienced in network communication optimization.
- Familiar with common databases, experienced in massive data governance.
- Familiar with various game feature designs, skilled at identifying gameplay bugs
- Proactive and self-driven toward problem-solving
- Excellent communication skill and collaboration with others.
